I'm making a polytarp sail now. I hope to hit the water next week. The gaff is not in the photos, it's drying in the garage. I'm going to use sandbags for ballast initially. The strange looking box at the bow is my cheapo version of a Dorade vent with handholds for climbing up the bow transom. I added a hatch not in the plans due the baking sensation at 100F in the driveway. I installed drain tubing in the footwell that run to the aft wet well. I'm using T-spars because I'm a tightwad. One thing I've learned is, you can never have too many C-clamps. The blue hull in the background is my Piccup Pram of two years ago.
